Brighton vs Liverpool Preview

Steven Gerrard is expected to bring Liverpool back to winning ways. Once in two games last suffered defeat on Wednesday (21 September) 20:45 (GMT +2), the Reds aiming for perfect results with the beat Brighton and Hove Albion in the third round League Cup (Carling).

As for Carroll, Dalglish hope this event can be triggered sharp. This tall player has not contributed goals for the Reds this season. The Reds have bad memories in the League Cup third round. Last year though reinforced Ryan Babel, Sotirios Kyrgiakos and Milan Jovanovic Liverpool Northampton eliminated in this phase.
